This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, noting that works on the Vulcanesti-Chisinau line have started to install wires in the area of Congaz locality. At the same time, the construction works continue.
According to the ministry’s press release, this strategic project is a key investment in Moldova’s energy independence and security and part of the efforts to strengthen the inter-system connection with the European ENTSO-E network.
“The 400 kV Vulcanesti-Chisinau line is the backbone of our energy security. The advancement of works on the ground, despite high temperatures, demonstrates the seriousness and commitment of the teams involved,” said Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu.
