The event brought together financial institutions, commercial banks, development partners and authorities in a format focused on presenting the tools available for investment in the agri-food sector.
Alexandra Șian, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, emphasized at the start of the event that AgroFin emerged in response to farmers’ requests. “Access to finance is a key topic for any entrepreneur in agriculture. The purpose of this event is to help farmers identify the right tool for their investment needs,” said Alexandra Șian.
Caroline Chipper, director of the Agricultural and Rural Advice Center, said AgroFin is organized as an informational and practical guide. “We want every farmer to go home with a suggestion. Personalized information is available in the exhibit area for each case.” She also announced the launch of the Center’s website, which will provide access to agricultural news, advisor contacts and opportunities to request case study training.
