
“It’s one of the most unique brands until the 90s. Lacto Bar was a HoReCa concept where you could find products that were unusual for the time, like milk with polenta. It was different from what you could find in the market at the time,” says Savopol.
The first lacto bars will open this summer. “I am already eyeing several premises, especially in prestigious neighborhoods in Bucharest, such as Amzei Square,” says the entrepreneur.
The concept will be developed under the auspices of 5 to go and will be called Lacto Bar by 5 to go. But it is actually a spin-off.
The 5 to go chain entered the Moldovan market last year and currently has three outlets located in Chisinau and Ialoveni. If the new concept is in demand in Romania, it will definitely appear in Moldova as well.
