This was reported by the Organization for Development of Entrepreneurship (ODA). The Program loans were used by 663 entrepreneurs from all over the country. More than 9,900 people work in the companies created under the Program, and it is planned to create another 1,969 jobs.
The biggest investments are made in the Center region and Chisinau municipality – over 1.3 billion lei for each region, followed by the Northern region with 717 million lei and the Southern region, including ATU Gagauzia, with 200 million lei.
Most of the money with the assistance of the Program was invested in energy production and supply. They accounted for 45% of the total value of the projects. Manufacturing industry received 16%; investments, transportation and storage – 15%. Significant funds were also invested in health, education and recreation.
The 373 program was launched in July 2023 and is continually evolving. The maximum loan amount increased from MDL 15 million to MDL 40 million, and the possibility of financing the purchase of raw materials and supplies needed for production or services is now limited to 30% of the value of the investment project.
At the same time, the maximum guarantee has been increased from 40% to 80% of the loan value through the Credit Guarantee Fund, which also administers the ODA.
