“We greatly appreciate your willingness to work with us to ensure that we can truly operate at full capacity to counter all threats and attempts to block our ports. Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania are natural allies and natural partners in all logistics chains and in many areas. And we must continue to strengthen this alliance, as it is precisely what makes us stronger. “Ukraine is ready to contribute to the development of security capabilities in our neighboring countries—Romania and Moldova—and we look forward to continuing to take joint steps to achieve even greater results in this area,” Zelenskyy stated.
He noted that “it is very important to always stand together, just as we are today—Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, and Romania—on the Republic of Moldova’s Independence Day.”
According to Zelenskyy, “for countries bordering Russia, close cooperation with neighboring countries is an important condition for ensuring security and development”:
“This is an absolutely key prerequisite for ensuring the highest possible level of security and being able to develop our countries as effectively as possible.”

The President of Ukraine also spoke about Russian attacks. He noted that in the past 24 hours, 11 air raid alerts were issued in Kyiv alone due to attacks by Shahed drones and ballistic missiles.
“I can tell you that, unfortunately, for our citizens, these air raid alerts and these ballistic missile attacks have become a constant reality,” said the Ukrainian president.
In this context, the head of the neighboring state called for strengthening infrastructure, economic potential, and national security.
Zelenskyy also emphasized that Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, and Romania share a common goal—integration into the European Union—and must coordinate their efforts on this path.
