According to the government’s press service, the discussions covered a number of areas with potential for cooperation, including energy security, transportation, infrastructure reconstruction, and the medical equipment sector.

The participants also emphasized the importance of protecting mutual investments and creating the necessary conditions to stimulate and expand them.

In this context, Prime Minister Vasile Tofan spoke about the investment opportunities offered by Moldova, and the benefits for companies that choose to develop their businesses in our country, including opportunities provided by free economic zones and access to foreign markets.

As reported by Logos Press, earlier that same day, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Moldova, Almat Aidarbekov, met with the leadership of Moldova’s Central Election Commission to discuss the operation of polling stations in Chisinau on August 23 as part of the early parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan.
