
The company has officially confirmed that it has initiated proceedings to resolve an investment dispute with the Moldovan authorities. However, the company has not confirmed the previously reported claim amount of $500 million.
It was previously reported that the conflict between the Moldovan low-cost carrier FlyOne and the Moldovan government arose due to a decision by the Investment Selection Council (CEIISS) to demand a change in control over the airline because of risks to national security, after which the company’s co-owners initiated international arbitration against the state.
