At the same time, between August 10 and 16, 2026, goods were imported by individuals whose value at customs exceeded the tax-free limit, resulting in the collection of approximately 21.8 million lei, which accounts for 2.5% of the total amount collected during that period.
In addition, 12,128 customs declarations were processed over the past week, and the flow of vehicles totaled 103,692 border crossings. The busiest customs checkpoints remain Leușen and Sculeș, with 22,161 and 17,721 crossings, respectively.
