In this regard, the Border Police reminds hunters of the importance of complying with the legal provisions set forth in Law No. 28/2024 on the State Border of the Republic of Moldova and Government Decree No. 862/2024.
To ensure the security of the state border and to conduct hunting in safe conditions, the Border Police recommends observing the following rules:
- Hunting is permitted only on the basis of a game bag report issued by the hunting reserve manager, a hunting permit issued by the Border Police for activities carried out in the border zone, and a permit to carry a firearm, all of which must be valid.
- Travel to and from the hunting site must be conducted with unloaded firearms secured in a holster.
- Hunting is prohibited within 1,000 meters of the state border.
- Hunting is prohibited within 500 meters of populated areas.
- Observe hunting quotas, permitted hunting areas, and all safety measures required by law.
- Check in advance the hunting seasons, permitted game species, and applicable conditions.
The Border Police recommend that all hunters familiarize themselves with the legal regulations in advance and use the “e-Permis” platform to request permits and submit notifications.
