During a meeting with representatives of international partners, the head of government thanked them for their continued support, noting that the assistance provided had played an important role in overcoming the crises of recent years and advancing key areas of the country’s modernization.
Vasile Tofan outlined the government’s main priorities, including advancing the process of European integration, developing the economy, and strengthening an effective state capable of better responding to the needs of its citizens.
“The support of our partners is crucial for implementing reforms and achieving the Republic of Moldova’s development goals. Therefore, the government will be an open, transparent, and accountable partner for you in managing state resources. Through diligence, tangible results, and honest dialogue with citizens, we will restore trust in the state and, together, bring about the changes the country needs,” the prime minister stated.
The discussions also touched on current challenges in the energy sector, the hydrological situation on the Dniester River, cooperation in the areas of security and defense, infrastructure development projects, economic strengthening, and the situation in the labor market.
The meeting participants also discussed measures that could help increase women’s participation in the labor market and make more effective use of their potential in the economy.
