The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has published new maximum prices for gasoline and diesel fuel, which will take effect on August 4.
The maximum price for AI-95 gasoline will be 30 lei and 75 bani (2 bani cheaper than today) per liter, and for diesel fuel—32.82 lei (28 bani more expensive) per liter.
The diesel fuel shortage was caused by logistical disruptions resulting from falling water levels in the Danube and tensions in the Middle East.
