“Unfortunately, we will remain dependent on the Russian Federation for natural gas until 2028. Even with a contract in place, we have seen that during the winter—when energy demand is at its highest—supplies can be cut off without explanation. This is a form of dependence and, at the same time, a policy directed against those who do not comply,” Grosu said in an interview with the state news agency Moldpres.
