The deal was finalized in March, according to Variety.

As part of the agreement, Affleck became a senior advisor at Netflix. A team of 16 developers, researchers, and creative professionals from the startup also joined the company.

“From the invention of moving pictures to the transition to digital solutions, from motion capture to virtual production—technology has evolved alongside the artists who use it,” Affleck said.

Launched in 2022, InterPositive’s tools enable the training of large language models using footage and accelerate post-production—including mixing, in-frame lighting, and the addition of visual effects.

The startup has participated in the creation of commercial videos for brands, music videos, and other major video projects.
