Major renovation and beautification work is underway on the street. This includes repairing sidewalks, upgrading the lighting system, and landscaping green spaces.
As the city administration of the capital emphasizes, the street has long been in poor condition, and for many years, only emergency repairs to address urgent issues have been carried out there.
Currently, municipal crews are milling away the worn-out layer of asphalt, which will be replaced with new asphalt.
Previously, the sidewalks on both sides of Florilor Street were improved. In addition, driveways to residential buildings and public parking lots were improved, street lighting was modernized, a video surveillance system was installed, green spaces were landscaped and equipped with an irrigation system, and street furniture was installed.
The capital’s maintenance services carry out much of this work at night.
