At the end of the working week and on weekends there will be thematic seminars in the pavilions of the exhibition center, as well as an award ceremony for the winners of the contests “Novelty-2025” and “Farmer-Leader”.
Traditional agricultural exhibitions at “Moldexpo” are among the oldest in the country: “Moldagrotech” (spring and fall stages) is held for the 45th time, “Farmer” (fall stage) – for the 28th time. The exhibitions have an international character. This year, enterprises, research centers and farmer organizations from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey, Poland, Italy organized their stands with machinery and equipment, as well as know-how for the agri-food industry.
“The fact that the exhibitions have a long history testifies to the scale and the need of farmers to participate in such events, to gain new knowledge, to develop and to continue investing in this sector, which is fundamental for the economy of the Republic of Moldova. Over the last few years, we have observed fluctuations in productivity and efficiency in the agricultural sector. This is an indicator that investment in development, in innovation, in everything that implies a new, digital agriculture is the path that the Republic of Moldova should follow,” said Alexandra Shiyan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry MAIA.
During the four days of the exhibition at Moldexpo, visitors will be able to get acquainted with a wide range of products and services from all areas of the agri-food industry: from agricultural machinery and modern equipment to agrochemicals, horticulture and renewable energy solutions applied in agriculture.
The exhibition will also include a fair of seeds, seedlings and planting material, and the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Centre will organize a round table dedicated to the production of horticultural material of high biological value.
