Three new clusters will appear in Moldova in the coming years. This was announced at the second National Forum of Clusters, which took place in Chisinau.

About two hundred entrepreneurs from both banks of the Nistru River, economic experts, representatives of state authorities and development partners gathered on November 14, 2025 in Chisinau at the fifth Moldova Trade Forum – a significant event dedicated to the development of business partnerships and promotion of exports from the Republic of Moldova – reports Logos Press.

The European Union in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is launching a three-year, €3 million project to strengthen digital governance in agriculture and improve employment opportunities for vulnerable people in rural Moldova, Logos Press reports.

Two rural communes and two high-rise apartment buildings in the capital will be the first communities in Moldova to use renewable energy sources, Logos Press reported.

Moldova will develop an investment map to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. This was reported by UNDP Moldova, noting that UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Moldova Seher Ariner met with the Director General of the Investment Agency of Moldova, Natalia Bejan, and participated in the roundtable of the Agency’s Advisory Committee.

The Inspectorate for the Protection of the Environment (IPM) received modern equipment to strengthen the institution’s capacity and better protect natural resources,” Logos Press reported.

Sweden, Great Britain and UNDP are allocating $1.3 million for the development of six economic clusters on both banks of the Dniester through the project “Development of Export Potential on the Banks of the Dniester” (AdTrade),” Logos Press reports.

The Alliance of Compatriots’ Associations is establishing business contacts with representatives of the Moldovan diaspora for additional funding,” Logos Press reports.

The third phase of the program “Mayors for Economic Growth (M4EG)” was launched in Moldova. It will last four years – from 2025 to 2028. Partners provide 8 million euros for projects within this program,” Logos Press reports.
