Moldova’s largest agribusiness holding and a major agribusiness operator in the Black Sea region, Trans-Oil Group, generated revenues of $2.17 billion in the last fiscal year, of which $27.5 million in Moldova

Agro-industrial conglomerate Trans-Oil Group, one of the largest players in the Black Sea region, focused on Moldova but also active in Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Asia, is studying the possibility of listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) as part of its strategy to diversify its sources of financing, Logos Press reports.

In the Republic of Moldova, the installation of one of the country’s most powerful agro-industrial facilities has been completed — a complex for rapeseed processing and rapeseed oil production at the Floarea Soarelui SA plant.

In 2025, Trans-Oil Group built a rapeseed processing complex at the production base of its Floarea Soarelui SA (Balti) oil and fats factory. During the first season, the new complex processed 40 thousand tons of rapeseed, produced 18.3 thousand tons of oil and 21.5 thousand tons of meal, Logos Press reports.

Trans-Oil Group has completed the acquisition of Frial SA, a leading operator of port infrastructure in Constanta – Logos Press reports.

Agro-industrial holding Trans-Oil will initially invest more than 30 million euros ($34 million) in its corn starch processing plant in Serbia’s northwestern city of Sremska Mitrovica, Logos Press reports.
