The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has approved amendments to the Methodology for the calculation, approval and application of regulated tariffs for natural gas distribution services, introducing the concept of a single distribution tariff, Logos Press reported.

Natural gas tariffs for consumers will not be changed until January, but rates may be revised after settlements are finalized by the new state-owned supplier Energocom, Logos Press reported.

Motor carriers were allowed to raise passenger transportation fares up to 20% above the established maximum, provided they document the increase in costs, Logos Press reported.

Two major electricity suppliers have submitted a request to the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) for tariff reductions.

The fare for electric public transport in the Transnistrian region will increase from May 12 from 3.5 to 4 rubles per trip. The municipal enterprises “Tiraspol Trolleybus Department” and “Bender Trolleybus Department” requested the increase of the fare.
