In 2026, the United States will allocate only $400 million dollars for military aid to Ukraine, and the same amount of aid is planned for 2027, Logos Press reported.

A new business development initiative will be launched for small and medium-sized enterprises from the Transnistrian region and Gagauzia, within which five companies from each region will receive comprehensive financial and expert support, Logos Press reports.

In 2025, more than 20 thousand people were employed in Moldova – 20% more compared to the previous year.

For 2026, Moldova plans to employ 25,000 people – a quarter of the total number envisaged in the government program, Logos Press reported.

Moldovan diaspora entrepreneurs will receive support in the amount of 5,000 euros for projects in the form of material contribution and specialized expertise under the “Buy Diaspora” program, Logos Press reports.

Further enlargement of the European Union is supported by 56% of the European countries’ respondents, but only 48% of respondents have a favorable attitude to Moldova’s accession to the EU, – reports Logos Press.
