In Moldova, there are only 0.2 hectares of forest plantations per inhabitant, while the world average is 0.5 hectares. Our country ranks 122nd out of 188 in the world ranking.

The European Investment Bank will allocate 200 million euros to Moldova, which will allow planting more than 63 thousand hectares of forests, building 10 wood warehouses, a semiology center, three nurseries and restoring more than 265 km of forest roads during the next four years, – reports Logos Press.
