Russian oil company Lukoil has reached a preliminary agreement to sell almost all of its foreign assets with U.S. investment company Carlyle, Logos Press reported.

France’s billionaire Pinot family, through its holding company Artémis, has agreed to sell a 29% stake in German sports brand Puma SE to Chinese giant Anta Sports Products Ltd for €1.5 billion ($1.8 billion), according to Logos Press.

At the same time, for investments worth 25 million euros or more, the state will provide a number of benefits, including the transfer of state-owned land for free use, exemption or deferral of real estate tax, fees for issuing certificates and permits, which are an integral part of the investment project, according to Logos Press.

Negotiations on the sale of Giurgiulesti port are ongoing, the deal has not yet been finalized, the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization said.
