British mobile operator Spusu (MNVO) has announced the extension of its roaming zone in EU member states to Ukraine and Moldova, Logos Press reports.

Now subscribers of Moldovan operators can make calls, send SMS and use mobile Internet in 27 EU countries without roaming charges – under the same conditions as at home.

Romania’s National Authority for Communications Administration and Regulation (ANCOM) has announced that from January 1, 2026, Moldova and Ukraine will be integrated into the EEA roaming zone, where the Roaming at Home (RLAH) pricing principle will apply, Logos Press reported.

In 2024, telephone and internet traffic in roaming between Moldova and Romania increased significantly. Especially the use of Internet in roaming increased – up to 1 million GB per year,” Logos Press reported.

The average wholesale tariff that a guest network operator from Moldova can apply to a roaming service provider for providing a call in the guest network should not exceed a ceiling of 0.019 euros per minute until June 30, 2032,” Logos Press reported.
