Enterprises in Moldova will have new opportunities for early identification of financial problems, restructuring of debts and receiving support before insolvency, Logos Press reports.

The construction of a modern production hall is nearing completion, which is being built as part of the project “Innovative Services of the Cimislia Business Incubator for the Development of New Enterprises in the Region”.

The construction of the Solid Waste Recycling Center within the second phase of the municipal project “Chisinau Solid Waste” is running five months ahead of schedule, – Logos Press reports.

Chisinau City Hall in partnership with the Odessa Regional Development Agency and with the technical support of the Romanian agency Higea launched today the European project “EURoBRIDGE_UA_MD”, – reports Logos Press.

The total project budget is $59.8 million. The project is financed by a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and two grants ratified by Parliament in 2023. The project implementation period is from October 2023 to December 2029. Its main objective is to strengthen the educational infrastructure and improve the quality of the teaching and learning process.

The Social Housing III project will benefit from a EUR 20 million loan and grants from the Green Fund for Social Investment (EUR 1 million) and the E5P Foundation (EUR 6 million). The project started in 2025 and includes energy efficiency measures. It is implemented by the National Infrastructure Development Office “Moldova-Project” on the basis of a framework loan agreement by the Council of Europe Development Bank (CDB).

Until November 12, 2025. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development is accepting applications from mayoralties for participation in the project “Decentralized drinking water supply in Moldova” worth 12 million euros, Logos Press reported.

The project on sustainable development of public transport “MOVE IT like Lublin” was completed in Chisinau. It was realized with the financial support of the European Union on the basis of a partnership between the Chisinau and Lublin city halls (Poland). The total budget of the project is 3.5 million euros, of which 3.325 million euros is an EU grant and 175 thousand euros are allocated by the Chisinau City Hall.

Moldova continues to modify the regulatory framework in the construction sector, which is brought in line with the provisions of the Urban Development Code. The Government drafted a decision that amends the Regulation on the creation and functioning of a single window for issuing permits for construction works.

Investments in the amount of 15.77 million lei were made in Ungheni municipality within the project “Modernization of municipal road infrastructure for sustainable economic revival”. The project was implemented by the Regional Development Agency “Center” at the expense of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).

Moldova will receive 2.7 million euros from the Danish government to implement international standards for the construction of “passive houses” and near-zero-energy buildings (nZEB), Logos Press reports.
