The season of harvesting raspberries for freezing has started in Moldova. At present, the supply of this raw material is very small, it is purchased by only one “berry cluster” (in the village of Pokrovka, Donduseni district) for export to Poland. “The ‘demand price’ is about 40-45 lei/kg, reports Logos Press.

This week (i.e., about eight to ten days earlier than the forecasted start), the raspberry selling season started in Moldova. Farms from the central districts of Moldova sell raspberries of the first harvest to supermarket chains in Chisinau at a wholesale price of 400 lei/kg,” Logos Press reports.
