The harvesting of plums has been completed in Moldova. The summer forecast of the 2025 harvest of these fruits in the range of 80-90 thousand tons was most likely justified, Logos Press reports.

At the end of this week, gardeners in the south and center of Moldova will start harvesting early varieties of plums – “Petestianca” and “Caciasca early”. The demand for the fruits of the first harvest will be high. The starting price offered by traders, according to fruit market operators, will be set in a wide range of 9-15 lei/kg,” Logos Press reports.
