PAS deputy, former footballer Maxim Potyrniche said that it is urgent to allocate 12 million lei from the state budget to finance a feasibility study of the future National Arena / National Stadium of the Republic of Moldova.

Last April, it was announced that the president of the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF), Leonid Olejnichenko, had held talks with representatives of the Romanian company that had been selected to conduct a feasibility study for the National Stadium project. A few months later, the project was discussed at the governmental level and promised to present the feasibility study publicly within a year. A year has passed and Dan Perchun, Minister of Education and Research, reports that the project is still at the pre-feasibility study stage. Has the relevance of the project waned?
