Ukrainian operator Naftogaz is negotiating with U.S. producers for direct deliveries of liquefied natural gas to Ukraine, Logos Press reported

Gas reserves in Ukrainian gas storages as of August 31 are estimated at 6.5 billion m3, which is significantly lower than last year’s level and raises concerns before the start of the heating season, Logos Press reported.

Ukrainian state-owned operator Naftogaz has sent a payment request to Russia’s Gazprom to recover $1.37 billion under a Swiss arbitration court ruling, Logos Press reported.
