The corruption scandal in Ukraine continues – the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) has exposed an “organized criminal group” of current Ukrainian deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, Logos Press has reported.

EU authorities have decided to cut funding to Ukraine and suspend payments as “precautionary measures”, Logos Press reported.

Mass protests were held in major Ukrainian cities on July 22 demanding that the country’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, veto a scandalous law that effectively subordinates independent anti-corruption agencies to the country’s prosecutor general, Logos Press reported.
