Moldova is planning to implement European standards of monitoring the health of workers, for which labor medicine offices will be created and the frequency of medical examinations will be reduced, reports Logos Press.

Hotel conditions and minimum bureaucracy are the two main differences between private and public clinics. At the same time, the quality of services in both sectors is comparable, Logos Press reports.

More than 121 million lei was allocated for medical assistance to Ukrainian refugees in Moldova in 2022-2024. As reported by the National Health Insurance Company (NHIC), this funding was provided by donors under NHIC agreements with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), UNICEF and UNFPA.
