The U.S. economy is in a situation where it has become more profitable to sell its LNG domestically than to export it, according to Logos Press.

Several EU countries, including Romania, France, the Netherlands and Portugal, have increased their energy imports from Russia in 2025, and in doing so are “fueling Russia’s military economy”, according to Logos Press.

Global natural gas consumption reached a record level in 2024, totaling 4.17 trillion cubic meters, according to the new 2025 Gas Market Report by the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Logos Press reports.
