During 2026, Moldova will implement the third phase of the program for the development of public kindergartens, which should create at least 5,000 new places for children by 2027, Logos Press reports.

A new methodology for allocating funds will be applied to the financing of kindergartens, taking into account the mode of operation, staff qualifications and other factors affecting costs, Logos Press reported.

The Soros Foundation in Moldova, with the financial support of the European Union, is launching a grant program for opening family-type kindergartens, Logos Press reports.
