The National Union of Romanian Patronage (UNPR), the first national confederation of entrepreneurs created in Romania after the revolution, has officially opened a branch in Moldova, Logos Press reported.

On New Year’s Eve, amid optimistic reports and forecasts, the message of the investor community sounded alarming. They stated: the key problem in Moldova was the gradual decline in its competitiveness and the increasing difficulty of maintaining a profitable and sustainable business in the medium and long term.

According to the Investment Agency, during Moldova Business Week 2025, which is taking place this week, an agreement was reached with a group of investors from China to invest in various production facilities in Moldova for a total of about 20 million euros.

Investors must obtain permits for the construction of renewable energy generating facilities on the territory of the unrecognized PMR within a maximum of 30 days,” Logos Press reported.
