The goal of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova is to reach the indicator that 7 out of 10 lyceum graduates will choose to study at domestic universities by the academic year 2028-2029, Logos Press reports.

In the current academic year, the number of students enrolled in Moldovan universities exceeded 23,000, of which 17,346 were at the bachelor’s level (11% more than in 2024) and 5,849 at the master’s level (13% more than in the previous year), Logos Press reported.
