The state decided to share land resources with some localities. At the meeting on October 15, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a decision on the transfer of lands from the state property to the ownership of local authorities from the settlements of Cetrosu, Ialoveni, Cricova, Băcioi and Roşu. In return, the Cricova and Beceoi mayoralties will be transferred to the state.

The auction for granting the right to lease agricultural lands in the state public ownership brought almost 3.2 million lei to the state budget, Logos Press reported.

The cost of land plots in Chisinau has increased by almost 60% over the year. The reason is the acute shortage of supply and the sellers’ requests that defy logic.

The capital’s mayor’s office earned more than 43 million lei as a result of a land auction held in Chisinau, Logos Press reported.
