Moldovan scientists are invited to participate in an international competition of the European Partnership for Brain Health (EP BrainHealth) in which they can receive funding of up to 50,000 euros from the National Agency for Research and Development (ANCD), Logos Press reports.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will compete for grants of up to 1.5 million lei (about 77,000 euros) to improve energy efficiency and renewable energy production, Logos Press reported.

Grants worth 14 million lei will be given to 35 youth organizations that won the 2026 program within the contest organized by the Ministry of Education and Science, Logos Press reported.

Scientists, researchers and innovative companies from Moldova will be supported in the preparation of projects for participation in the largest European program of financing science and innovation Horizon Europe with a total budget of 93.5 billion euros, – reports Logos Press.

The Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship (ODA) will resume accepting applications for non-refundable funding in late January or early February, after approving its budget, Logos Press reported.

A total of 28.9 million lei was granted to 68 local enterprises, which will allow attracting additional investments in the economy worth more than 45 million lei, Logos Press reported.

Most of the external loans and grants, according to the annual report of the Audit Chamber, were used last year to support the budget, while the absorption of development money was not complete, Logos Press reported.

Dairy and beef cattle ranchers can apply for grants of up to $1 million to modernize and expand their businesses to AIPA’s Agricultural Intervention and Payment Agency area offices through Dec. 31, 2025, Logos Press reported.

In September, 88 Moldovan companies received grants totaling 29 million lei, which will help attract additional investments worth about 54 million lei into the country’s economy,” Logos Press reported.

The plan of admission to higher education programs of the third cycle (doctoral studies) with funding from the state budget for the 2025-2026 academic year envisages 229 grants for a total of 5.831 million lei, Logos Press reported.

Moldova has launched three new youth “macro-programs” with a total budget of 20 million lei, but the funding may be adjusted depending on the number of applications, Logos Press reports.

About MDL 37 million was approved for payment on farmer subsidy applications by the Agricultural Interventions and Payments Agency AIPA last week, Logos Press reported.
