Excise duties on gasoline and diesel fuel in Moldova increased by 7% from January 1, 2026. At the same time, the rates for liquefied gas and fuel oil remained at the level of the previous year, Logos Press reported.

Gasoline imports to Ukraine from the Republic of Moldova increased by 9% in September, up to 11 thousand tons, while our country was the only supplier of 92-octane gasoline (2.1 thousand tons), – reports Logos Press.

Gasoline exports from Moldova to Ukraine in August quadrupled in comparison with July and amounted to 10.1 thousand tons, – Logos Press reports.

Moldova ranked last, 32nd in the rating of gasoline availability in European countries, compiled by RIA “Novosti”, – reports Logos Press.
