At the beginning of January 2026, there are 10.7 billion m3 less gas reserves in European underground gas storage facilities than a year ago, Logos Press reported.

Moldova has expressed interest in using Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities to create its own gas reserves. This was reported by the Moldovan Energy Ministry following talks between Minister Dorin Jungietu and his Ukrainian counterpart German Galushchenko, which took place in Kiev.
