The first phase of the Super League, which determined the top six teams, is over. “Petrocub became the “Winter Champion”, having suffered only one defeat in 21 matches. They will compete for a return to the elite with the top four clubs from the first phase of Ligue 1.

The Football Super League may be expanded to ten clubs. According to a Media Sport source in the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF), the increase in the number of participants in the championship is associated with an increase in the level of UEFA solidarity payments. The changes may come into force as early as next season.

The conflict in the soccer club “Spartanii-Sportul” does not subside. Viorel Cojocaru, former president and technical director of the club, head of the Sportul academy, gave Logos Press an exclusive comment on the situation (for details see LP No. 36 of 03.10.2025).

The Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) has decided to make the entrance to the final match of the Moldovan Cup free for all fans. The decisive meeting in the fight for the trophy between Milsami (Orhei) and Sheriff will take place in Tiraspol,” Logos Press reports.
