Residents of three high-rise buildings in Chisinau will be able to improve their living conditions and reduce their energy bills thanks to upcoming energy-saving works, Logos Press reported.

Moldova’s experience in achieving energy transition, launching energy efficiency programs and promoting renewable energy sources was cited as an example at the Energy Knowledge Forum in Antalya, Turkey, – Logos Press reports.

The first financing of 9.5 million lei was approved for the energy rehabilitation of multi-storey residential buildings in Chisinau, Hincesti and Ialoveni,” Logos Press reported.

The first five associations of owners in condominiums (APCs) in Chisinau and Balti have received technical project documentation developed with the free support of the National Center for Sustainable Energy (CNED), which gives them access to funds from the Fund for Energy Efficiency in the Moldovan Housing Sector (FEERM) – Logos Press reports.
