Thanks to the adaptation of logistics chains, Transnistria is becoming more and more firmly embedded in the European market – almost three quarters of its exports and almost half of its imports come from the European Union, Logos Press reports.

Founded in 1993, Sadro-Ursu has managed to develop into a modern and competitive company, which today exports more than 80% of its products to the EU market, – reports Logos Press.

Djofra-M is among the top ten fiberglass producers in Europe with a 2% share, but intends to be among the top three on the continent in the future, Logos Press reported.

In the previous few seasons on the fruit market of Moldova, the ratio of dessert apple (“frosh”, for the “fresh market”) to industrial apple (for all types of processing) was about 30/70. In the best case – 40/60. This year, because of the specific conditions that are coming up, the balance may change in favor of “frosh”. But it is not certain yet.

In the 2024-25 marketing season, Moldova became the third largest exporter of wheat to the EU market with a share of 8.1% and a volume of 603.8 thousand tons.

In the recently completed marketing season (July 2024 – June 2025), the Republic of Moldova exported almost 118 thousand tons of barley to the European Union, – reports Logos Press with reference to Eurostat.
