Energy losses in older residential buildings can be as high as 50 percent, so they need to be renovated and modernized for energy efficiency, according to Logos Press.

More than 170 public institutions in Chisinau will have access to uninterrupted heat and hot water supply, thanks to the installation of 203 modern individual heating units (IHU), Logos Press reports.

Domestic and foreign companies are invited to participate in tenders for the renovation of public buildings under the INSPIREE project, implemented with the support of Germany and France, – reports Logos Press.

Investments in the energy efficiency of buildings justify themselves, so comprehensive thermal rehabilitation of residential buildings will continue, according to Logos Press.

The draft Sectoral Renovation Strategy of the National Real Estate Fund for 2025-2050 proposes the main directions for improving the energy efficiency of buildings in Moldova. The document was the subject of public consultations held on July 30,” Logos Press reported.
