The European Union is stepping up tax controls on the income of digital nomads, Logos Press reports.

A whole cluster of IT specialists has emerged in the world who need only a personal computer and high-speed Internet to do their work. Without being “tied” to a particular place of residence or work, these specialists choose the countries that are most suitable for living, in terms of climate, consumer prices, taxation, etc.

Moldova will regulate digital nomads, encourage the use of virtual cash registers and eBon, and will simplify the processes of interaction with international payment platforms for small and medium-sized businesses,” Logos Press reports.
