Starting with the 2026 baccalaureate session, 12th grade graduates of Russian-language schools will be able to be exempted from the Romanian language exam if they receive a certificate proving their level of proficiency in the language beforehand, Logos Press reported.

Last April, it was announced that the president of the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF), Leonid Olejnichenko, had held talks with representatives of the Romanian company that had been selected to conduct a feasibility study for the National Stadium project. A few months later, the project was discussed at the governmental level and promised to present the feasibility study publicly within a year. A year has passed and Dan Perchun, Minister of Education and Research, reports that the project is still at the pre-feasibility study stage. Has the relevance of the project waned?

The government today decided to grant a one-time financial support of 1,000 lei to each child studying in the I-IX grades, in order to prepare them for the new school year, Logos-press reported.

Moldovan universities will offer 8.7 thousand budgetary places in the new academic year. The Cabinet of Ministers approved a corresponding decision, approving the state order for higher education.
