The slow pace of the 2025 maize harvest campaign due to high soil moisture in the fields and grain in the cob increases the risk of deterioration in the quality of these products, especially when they are stored. This is the case in many countries in the Northern Black Sea region, but especially in Ukraine and Moldova.
