Russian oil company Lukoil has transferred its assets at Chisinau International Airport to Moldovan state ownership, Logos Press reported.

Chevron and private investment group Quantum Energy Partners are teaming up to bid for foreign assets of Russian oil company Lukoil.

A former senior adviser to US President Donald Trump, Brian Lanza, has become a consultant to Lukoil’s international division. According to Politico, citing two sources familiar with the situation, he worked with Trump during the 2024 election, Logos Press reported.

U.S. oil company Exxon Mobil said it is considering options to acquire some of the international assets of Russian oil giant Lukoil, which has been hit by U.S. sanctions, Logos Press reported.

Moldova and Romania have almost synchronously started the process of temporary control over Lukoil’s assets to prevent possible disruptions in fuel supplies,” Logos Press reported.

The difference between all assets and all debts of the country today, according to the calculations of the National Bank, is increasing for the worse due to the unprecedented growth of liabilities, – reports Logos Press.
