The objective of the program is to support the private sector of the Republic of Moldova in moving towards greener, resource efficient and sustainable business models by promoting eco-innovations, circular economy practices, renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions.

Theproject, with a total budget of €10 million and an implementation period of 48 months, aims to address Moldova’s vulnerabilities to climate change, environmental degradation and energy dependence by creating an enabling environment for a low-carbon, resource efficient, inclusive and sustainable economy.

One of the project components aims to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – the backbone of the national economy – in implementing eco-innovations, circular economy practices, renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions, and sustainable business models.

The project prioritizes support to enterprises run by women and youth, given their important role in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

To this end, the project “Promoting Inclusive Green Transition in the Republic of Moldova” announces a call for proposals for the selection of beneficiaries under non-financial support initiatives for micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups.
