Instead, each entrepreneur will be assigned a unique alternative tax code.

The corresponding bill was considered at a meeting of the commission on economy, budget and finance. The document will be proposed for the first reading at the plenary session of parliament. The initiative belongs to a group of deputies from the PCRM faction.

The draft stipulates that the State Tax Service will assign a unique identifier, which will replace the identification number, name and surname of the owner on the cash voucher.

It should be recalled that the mandatory introduction of cash registers for former patent holders led to the public disclosure of personal data on receipts.

Earlier, the National Center for Personal Data Protection recognized the publication of personal information on receipts as excessive and unreasonable.

UPDATE 26.03.2026.

The bill amending certain regulations, including the Law on Personal Data Protection and the Tax Code, was adopted in its first reading by 82 votes from deputies representing various factions.
