A launch every three days
According to the company, the achieved rate means that SpaceX is averaging sending one Starlink mission into orbit about every three days. This pace remains unprecedented for the global space industry.
The anniversary launch took place on May 31. The company planned to conduct another mission on the same day, which emphasizes the high level of automation and uptime of the reusable Falcon 9 rocket system.
Since the beginning of the year, SpaceX has put 1,375 Starlink satellites into orbit, continuing to expand the world’s largest satellite Internet constellation.
SpaceX’s competitive advantage
The high frequency of launches is becoming one of the key advantages of Ilon Musk’s company. While most space operators conduct only a few launches per year, SpaceX has effectively turned orbital missions into a serial production process.
The development of the Starlink network is not only technologically, but also economically important. The company is actively expanding its global satellite Internet coverage, increasing its subscriber base and strengthening its position in the space services market.

And Logos Press recently reported that American Airlines announced May 26 that it will install Starlink-based Wi-Fi on more than 500 narrow-body aircraft starting in the first quarter of 2027.
