
The event, organized by the European Union Advisory Mission on Civil Security Sector Reform in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) in partnership with the customs authorities of the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Ukraine, was attended by canine teams and trainers from the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
The seminar program included theoretical sessions and practical exercises aimed at improving response techniques and adapting to new challenges in the field. Participants practiced real control scenarios aimed at detecting prohibited items and substances in luggage, identifying specific odors, controlling vehicles and inspecting premises.
By participating in such events, the Customs Service’s canine teams constantly improve their practical skills, contributing to improving the efficiency of customs control and applying international best practices in this area.
The event also provided a platform for professional dialog and exchange of experience, strengthening cooperation between participating Customs authorities.
