The revenue growth was mainly driven by deliveries of 143 commercial airplanes. However, the Defense, Space & Security division also reported revenue of $7.6 billion, up 21% from a year earlier, with an operating margin of 3.1%, reports AeroFlap.

Notably during the period, Boeing signed a seven-year agreement to expand production of the PAC-3 Seeker system and announced a partnership with Rheinmetall to deliver the MQ-28 Ghost Bat drone to Germany.

The company’s total order book has reached a record $695 billion, including more than 6,100 commercial airplanes.

The division received 140 net orders during the quarter, including aircraft orders from customers such as Delta Air Lines, Air India and Aviation Capital Group.

The company in its filing also highlighted the Artemis II space mission, which is being carried out using Boeing’s Space Launch System launch vehicle.

Despite this, Boeing still has a total debt of $47.2 billion at the end of the quarter, although it has decreased.
